PARTS WARRANTY

All parts are sold with a minimum of THIRTY (30) days warranty unless otherwise stated. Coverage is for items received in a non-working state and those that have ceased to function within the time  period given. We will not be responsible for damages to parts by owner, a third-party or natural disaster/elements whether accidental or intentional. Natural disasters or elements refers to; storm,  hurricane, earthquake, flooding, tornado, ail, rain, snow etc.

All returns due to buyers remorse or mistaken orders will be charged a 20% Restock Fee. Upon receipt the item will be checked for cosmetic and functional damages. All such damages will be expensed to the customer. All refunds will be issued via the payment method by  which payment was received and will be expedited within two weeks. In such an instance shipping cost is  nonrefundable (Returns due to buyers remorse/wrong order). All non defective items returned for refund are subjected to our restock fee. In the case of a defective return that we cannot replace a full refund including shipping will be given.

Parts cannot be returned for full refund after (7) SEVEN days of receiving your order. All such parts may only be returned for exchange or restock under our Restock Fee policy.

IN CASE OF DAMAGE OR ITEM BEING LOST DURING TRANSIT; BUYER AGREES TO COOPERATE DURING THE INVESTIGATION/CLAIMS PROCESS. ONCE THE CARRIER VALIDATES THE CLAIM A REPLACEMENT PART WILL BE SHIPPED OR REFUND ISSUED.

INTERNATIONAL BUYERS; PLEASE NOTE THAT WE DO NOT OFFER RETURN SHIPPING REFUND IN ANY INSTANCE NEITHER ARE WE RESPONSIBLE FOR CUSTOMS OR DUTY CHARGED IN YOUR COUNTRY.

REPAIRS WARRANTY

Systems sent in for upgrade/repairs must be insured with carrier and tracking service provided. Laptops-we-R will not be responsible for damages to units in transit. All upgrades/repairs, that includes the installation of parts purchased from Laptops-we-R, are covered by the listed site warranty for said parts or a minimum of (60) days. Labor service is guaranteed for (60) sixty days. Repairs involving parts installation are only warranted for those parts installed by Laptops-we-R. 

Once a repaired system is opened or an installed component tampered with by the customer or other third party, the Repairs/Parts warranty becomes void. Under no condition is there allowance for buyers??? remorse. All damaged items will be accessed for  dismantling/tampering. If the product has been dismantled/tampered with by the customer or third party; all repairs expense will be charged to the customer. All items returned by the customer due to damages not associated with the customer will be repaired or replaced at our own discretion and expense.

We do not provide extensive; technical support, installation instructions or user guide. Please check manufacturers web site for such instructions. Warranty becomes void if ownership of unit is transferred.

Laptops-we-R will not be responsible for disputes that may arise between customers and any third party company advertised or used by this site. All such issues resulting from negligence or malpractice, must be resolved with those organizations.

IT IS THE CUSTOMERS RESPONSIBILITY TO READ THIS WARRANTY AGREEMENT. BY MAKING A PURCHASE YOU CONFIRM THAT YOU HAVE READ AND FULLY UNDERSTAND THE CONDITIONS OF YOUR PURCHASE. PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS TO THIS AGREEMENT.

 

PRIVACY POLICY

This Privacy Policy describes how and when Laptops-we-R.com collect, use, and share information when you purchase an item from me, contact me, or otherwise use my services.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to the practices of third parties that laptops-we-r do not own or control, including any third party services you access through.

1. Information Collected

To fulfill your order, you must provide me with certain information such as your name, email address, postal address, phone number, payment information, and the details of the product that you’re ordering. You may also choose to provide me with additional personal information through contact via email or phone.

2. Why Information is Needed and How It Is Used

Laptops-we-R rely on a number of legal bases to collect, use, and share your information, including:

  • as needed to provide my services, such as when I use your information to fulfill your order, to settle disputes, or to provide customer support;

  • when you have provided your affirmative consent, which you may revoke at any time, such as by signing up for my mailing list;

  • if necessary to comply with a legal obligation or court order or in connection with a legal claim, such as retaining information about your purchases if required by tax law; and

  • as necessary for the purpose of my legitimate interests, if those legitimate interests are not overridden by your rights or interests, such as providing and improving my services. I use your information to provide the services you requested and in my legitimate interest to improve my services and Compliance with the Etsy Seller Policy and Terms of Use. I use your information as necessary to comply with my obligations under the Etsy Seller Policy and Terms of Use.

3. Information Sharing and Disclosure

Information about customers is important to the business. Laptops-we-R share your personal information for very limited reasons and in limited circumstances, as follows:

  • PayPal - information is shared with PayPal as our payment processor to provide you with checkout services and comply with my obligations under both the PayPal Merchant Agreement and Terms of Use.

  • Service providers - I engage certain trusted third parties to perform functions and provide services to my shop, such as delivery/courier companies (Example: USPS, UPS, FED-EX). I will share your personal information with these third parties, but only to the extent necessary to perform these services.

  • Business transfers - If I sell or merge my business, I may disclose your information as part of that transaction, only to the extent permitted by law.

  • Compliance with laws - I may collect, use, retain, and share your information if I have a good faith belief that it is reasonably necessary to: (a) respond to legal process or to government requests; (b) enforce my agreements, terms and policies; (c) prevent, investigate, and address fraud and other illegal activity, security, or technical issues; or (d) protect the rights, property, and safety of my customers, or others.

4. Data Retention

Laptops-we-R retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to provide you with services and as described in the Privacy Policy. However, I may also be required to retain this information to comply with my legal and regulatory obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce my agreements. I generally keep your data for the following time period: 4 years.

5. Transfers of Personal Information Outside the EU

Laptops-we-R may store and process your information through third-party hosting services in the US and other jurisdictions. As a result, we may transfer your personal information to a jurisdiction with different data protection and government surveillance laws than your jurisdiction. In case of transfer of information about you outside of the EU, we rely on Privacy Shield as the legal basis for the transfer, as Google Cloud is Privacy Shield certified.

6. Your Rights

If you reside in certain territories, including the EU, you have a number of rights in relation to your personal information. While some of these rights apply generally, certain rights apply only in certain limited cases. Your rights are as described below:

  • Access. You may have the right to access and receive a copy of the personal information we hold about you by contacting me using the contact information below.

  • Change, restrict, delete. You may also have rights to change, restrict my use of, or delete your personal information. Absent exceptional circumstances (like where I am required to store data for legal reasons) We will generally delete your personal information upon request. You may also log into your account and delete your account directly.

  • Object. You can object to (i) the processing of some of your information based on our legitimate interests and (ii) receiving marketing messages from me after providing your express consent to receive them. In such cases, we will delete your personal information unless there is compelling and legitimate grounds to continue using that information or if it is needed for legal reasons.

  • Complain. If you reside in the EU and wish to raise a concern about use of your information (and without prejudice to any other rights you may have), you have the right to do so with your local data protection authority.
